We have developed new designs of masks and the corresponding synthesis methods, which allow us to eliminate the parasitic diffraction orders. This allows enlarging the image and increasing the diffraction efficiency of the optical scheme several times. In the case of a binary phase mask, an efficiency of about 1.5% can be achieved.
